Candice Birns is best known for her edgy cuts and trendsetting styles which have been turning heads in the entertainment industry for nearly nine years.

Candice began her career studying at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN, and then worked at the legendary Umberto Beauty salon for several years before joining Beverly Hills’ top-rated Canale Salon as a Senior Stylist.

Candice’s boldness and versatility have helped to make her one of the most sought after stylists in the music industry, creating styles for popular bands like MGMT, Hot Hot Heat, Ladytron, Mastadon, Play Radio Play, Gran Ronde and The Ringers. Most recently, Candice was named 2007 MVPA (Music Video Production Association) Winner for best hair in a music video for her work on Hot Hot Heat’s video “Harmonicas and Tambourines.”

Candice’s hair creations have been featured in Maxim, 13 Minutes, Flaunt Magazine, and have graced the Emmy and Academy Awards and other red carpet events. Her styles have also been showcased on fashion runways for Elmer Ave., Kucoon Designs and other leading design companies. Candice’s growing list of celebrity clients include Shannon Elizabeth, Denise Richards, Cornelia Guest, Ambassador Nancy Brinker, Harry Hamlin, Gale Harold, Carolyn Murphy, Charisma Carpenter, Cornelia Guest and SNL Producer, Marci Klein, to name a few.
